Extracurricular Activities
What can students do outside the classroom?
In theatre, most extracurricular activities offered include the required shows performed, like a Musical, a One Act, a Play etc. But there is more to offer to students than just the opportunity to perform on a stage! Here are some Extracurricular Activities that I have had experience with and have enjoyed both as a student and as a teacher.
ITS: International Thespian Society
Tiny Tots Theatre
Theatre shows written by students intended for audience members between 18 months old to 3 years old.
Shakespeare Society
Having a Shakespeare Society provides students an opportunity to experience the texts written by William Shakespeare and the ability to self-direct into an easily understood production.
